A Better Option for Your Home Health Care Needs
About the Owner Bill Cardenas
Bill Cardenas became the owner and operator of the Comfort Keepers of Los Angeles, CA office after he discovered the benefits of home health care. Bill was introduced to the non-medical in-home industry as a result of the help needed to care for his wife’s mother.
From this experience, Bill and his wife were able to appreciate the benefit and support a professional in home health care provider could offer a family who because of work and other responsibilities would not be able to provide all of the required attention and needed care for the family member.
Bill is grateful that he can help clients realize their wish to continue living independently at home. He also enjoys the opportunity to help people who are just returning home from a stay in the hospital for surgery or medical care. Comfort Keepers of Los Angeles, CA is there to make the transition back into home life safe and comfortable.
Bill is a member of the Society of Certified Senior Care Advisors (CSA), Partners in Care Foundation, an active member of L.A. Team Referral, Better Business Bureau and an active long-term Usher at his Church.

Our Home Health Care Philosophy
The idea behind our unique approach to home health care, Interactive Caregiving®, — backed by solid research — is that seniors who stay actively engaged in life retain better cognitive function, remain in better physical condition, and live happily and independently longer.
Interactive Caregiving is based on five primary components, which Comfort Keepers® put to work as we care for, engage and interact with our clients:
- An active senior mind promotes independence, better mental and physical health, happiness and a longer life.
- A physically active senior maintains strength and independence, lessening or delaying the effects of aging.
- A well-nourished senior is more energetic, both physically and mentally.
- A safe senior lives in an environment that reduces the likelihood of accidents and promotes timely response when illness or accidents occur.
- A senior who receives help with the activities of daily living (ADLs), and the other four essential components of Interactive Caregiving, is more likely to live safely, happily and independently at home.
