Learn more about becoming a Comfort Keeper
Are you ready to begin an exciting career as a caregiver? If so, an opportunity at Comfort Keepers may be right for you. By assisting elders with household chores and personal care tasks that are essential for a safe and healthy life, you will help them become more independent and live a fulfilling, comfortable life in their own environment. After a day’s work, you will reflect on what you’ve done as a home care provider and smile because you know that you’ve made a difference in a senior’s life.
What to Expect
A potential caregiver will undergo a thorough screening and interview process. Once hired, they will complete a training program to ensure they have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide top-notch care to our elderly clients. Education doesn’t end with our training program because all home care providers are required to attend continuing education classes to stay updated on senior home care industry best practices.
If you work for Comfort Keepers, you will be an employee rather than an independent contractor. As a senior in-home care provider, you will be bonded, insured, and covered by worker’s compensation to give our elderly clients and their families the peace of mind they deserve.
If you’re passionate about senior care and interested in non-caregiver positions, you can become a client care coordinator. As a client care coordinator at our Los Angeles, CA location, you will be responsible for conducting assessments in client’s homes, developing care plans, assisting with scheduling and training, and communicating with clients, their families, and employees. Receptionist, administrative assistant, marketing, and scheduler positions are available as well.
